gusto ko po kse magtagal ang life span ng gamit ko pero hindi po ako sure sa proper way of cleaning them after hiking as well as proper way of keeping/storing them when not in use.

nice climb in Mt. Apo last year and we conquer the high peak in the phillipines and very challenging the trail... thought mahirap but enjoyed the climb. but most the climbers they claimed that NAKAPAG APO NA KAMI naka-pag apo nga but the question is " may back pack bang dala, full pack ba yung bag, ikaw ba mismo nag dala at hindi nag pa porter? di bale na akong nahirapan to conquer the Mt. apo basta dala ko yung sarili kong bag at hindi nagpa-porter....

PERO MASASABI KO MY DREAM COME TRUE because i conquer mt. apo with my backpack and most especially without "PORTER" im very proud of myself........

sir gideon!

sir sana po makagawa dito sa pinoy mountaineer ng heirarchy of mountains, arranged by popularity, difficulty and altitude.....yung parang organizational chart ang itsura....with everest as the highest and yung mga bundok dito sa pinas at the lower end.....gusto ko din kasi magkaron ng climb achievements tulad ng sayo! mabuhay ang pinoy mountaineer! mabuhay si sir gideon!

If you really find FUN in groups, ok hanap ka! Madami yan! samu't-saring pangalan.
But I'll tell you what! I, for one, don't belong to a group. And I set out on my journeys alone (most of the time). Sobrang pocket friendly ung trips niya. Volunteer guide din ako. Trust me...WALANG BAYAD. Wala kang gear? No prob yan.

BUT

If you really find FUN in groups, ok hanap ka! Madami yan! samu't-saring pangalan.

every hiking experience should be fun. it does not matter on how you enjoyed your hike (whether you have a porter or not). Enjoying the mountain, on the first place, is every mountaineer's goal.

just saying.
