If you submit your group, please give complete information and please give me time to add it! Don’t get any ideas (i.e. maybe I don’t like your group) because PinoyMountaineer.com is strictly neutral about groups and affilations! It takes about two hours of my life to update the Mountaineering Clubs list so I cannot do it all the time. Same is true for all requests including additions in the Outdoor Shops list.

Again, PinoyMountaineer.com is supportive of all mountaineering clubs and initiatives throughout the country, regardless of affiliation. Heads and officers of mountaineering clubs are invited to correspond with the blogger by emailing gideon@pinoymountaineer.com. Feel free to let us know about your events, and share with us your updates, discoveries, and destinations that are not yet in the website. More power to these mountaineering clubs. Happy climbing to all!

Wow. thanks for recognizing our group (SULIT). Our group is not really that big and that fast in our climbs. However, we do have the passion and enthusiasm of the younger and more experienced mountaineers. We just came from our "Manabu Revista" (July 17-18)and sad to say, there are still vandals desecrating the mountains. At the back side of the "Malaking Krus" at the summit, somebody wrote "HUNTERS CLAN", "BAN", "GON" and "W" (perhaps some of the letters have already been erased). Also along the trail, someboy etched their names, initials and other symbols on some of the trees. Its just so sad that there are some pseudo-mountaineers doing such things.
